Ashleigh Smith, owner of this blog, is a Masters of Professional Communications Student at the University of Western Sydney, Australia.

After living in Canada last year, she has come to realize the major differences between Australian and American culture with advertising, and how it can have a controlling affect on consumers, as well as the ripple affect.

Culture Jamming was a term she picked up during her stay, and it something she wants to develop further to understand more about this craft.
